Hi, I'm Aly.
I'm so glad you're here.
I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. You may have spent months—or even years—trying to carry everything on your own before finding yourself here. My hope is that from the moment we connect, you'll feel welcomed, supported, and reminded that you don't have to navigate life's challenges alone.
I've always been drawn to understanding people's stories. I believe every person has incredible resilience, even when life's experiences have made it difficult to see. My role isn't to "fix" you—it's to create a safe, compassionate space where you can better understand yourself, process difficult experiences, and reconnect with the strengths that have been there all along.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, pregnancy and postpartum challenges, grief, relationship concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are people who are used to taking care of everyone else and find themselves feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they are. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in moving forward.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic interventions, and attachment-informed approaches. I believe healing happens through safety, connection, and curiosity—not judgment or pressure. We'll move at a pace that feels right for you while building practical tools that support meaningful, lasting change.
I earned my Bachelor of Social Work from Portland State University in 2015 and my Master of Social Work from George Fox University in 2016. Since then, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in a variety of settings while continuing advanced training in trauma treatment, EMDR, perinatal mental health, attachment, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches. Lifelong learning is important to me because I want to provide the highest quality care to every person I work with.
Outside of the therapy office, I believe in slowing down, spending time with the people I love, enjoying the beauty of Central Oregon, and finding moments that restore and ground me. Those same values of balance, authenticity, and connection shape the way I show up in my work with clients.
Finding the right therapist matters. I know there are many wonderful therapists to choose from, and I consider it a privilege whenever someone invites me into their healing journey. If you think we might be a good fit, I'd love to connect and answer any questions you have during a complimentary consultation.
